Garmeh is an amazing oasis which is located in the central desert of Iran with eye-catching scenery. around 400 km to the east of Isfahan city in Biabanak and Khur region. This oasis’s climate is dry and warm. Walking in this village is like stepping back in time.
In the past about 2000 years ago, Garmeh village was placed on the Silk Road and that used to be one of the rest spots on that way, so it has been welcoming travelers from all over the world. The main water source of this oasis is some springs that come from the mountains and there is a beautiful wetland in the heart of the village that surrounded by tall palm trees.
There is also an old four-storied castle, which belongs to the Sassanid era. Another attraction of this village is a thermal spring which has many therapeutic benefits. Around the oasis, there are wonderful deserts and fields with some groups of camels that living there.
Its row houses on lush hills overlooking the grocery store are still one of the few simple sights that fascinate one at the same time. People speak the Pahlavi language, which is the most ancient and ancient language of Iranians. Indigenous peoples call it “Hasb” in their old and local language.
