Mazichal is located near the town of Kelardasht, almost 2,600 meters above sea level. The magnificent landscapes of Mazichal with a large view of the Ramsar to Chalus route have created a great tourist spot in this mountainous village.
The existence of hills above the clouds, and the unsurpassed views of the clouds that take on beautiful shapes at any moment, make multiply the pleasure of traveling to this region. The mountainous weather, the scenery of the forest, and the view of the ocean of clouds reveal a heavenly image of the creation of God.
There are many oak trees in the region. According to some “Mazi” in the local dialect means oak tree and “chal” means pit so that Mazichal means the pits filled with oak trees. This beautiful village has no electricity and the people of the village use a lantern for lighting at night. Keep in mind that the village does not have a grocery store, so get the items you need in advance.
In the autumn, the forests from the beginning of the road have beautiful and dreamy scenery. In the spring, the highlands are beautifully covered with seasonal flowers, and the snowy scenery of the peaks around it, but the best time to visit Mazichal is summer, especially if you want to stay overnight.
How to go there: Chalous Road to Marzan Abad, then go to Kelardasht. Drive about 7 km from Kelardasht main square on Abbasabad road to reach the beginning of Mazichal road. From the beginning of Mazichal dirt road, you move 17 km to the heights, and now you have reached Paradise.
