Narin Castle is located in Iran, Yazd province, Meybod city, between Rey road to Kerman, 50 km northwest of Yazd city, and on a 25-meter-high hill with a small slope from south to north (parts of the castle, which are located on the margins of the southern part of the city, amounting to 20 meters higher than the northern parts). From Narin Castle, you can see the whole city and the surrounding area.
Some archaeologists date the settlement to about 3,000 to 4,000 BC. Based on the stated antiquity, it seems that Narin Ghale has the oldest human civilization in the history of Yazd.
It seems that this historical monument has been constructed several times in different eras, which indicates the time of construction, expansion, and various restorations. Architectural experts believe that the placement and construction of Narin Qala have been done on other structures, and these structures in the lower layers are older and more valuable.
The place is suitable for: adventure tourists, cultural tourists, historical tourists, and as well as for photography and hiking lovers. Meybod, like Yazd, has a dry and desert climate, so if you do not have a time limit, choose cool months and spring to travel to this region.
