Eram Garden

Who doesn’t like a lovely walk around tall trees while the fresh breeze touches our soul and body? Eram Garden located in Shiraz is among the most beautiful Persian Gardens of Iran.

It is such a unique and gorgeous garden that is inscribed on UNESO World Heritage Sites.The history of Eram Garden structured as a Persian garden dates back to Seljuq dynasty (approximately 400 years ago), while the old building within the garden belongs to Qajar period.

Over its 150 years the structure has been modified, restored or stylistically changed by various participants. It was one of the properties of noble Shiraz Qavami Family.

The Building faces south along to long axis.It was designed by a local architect, Haki Mohammad Hassan. The structure housed 32 rooms on two stories,decorated by tiles with poems from the poet Hafez written on them.

The tallest Sarv-e Nazof the garden,which is about a hundred meters high,is the tallest Sarv-e Naz of Shiraz too as if an artist`s hand created it so steady and balanced.

This tree has come to international recognition and foreign writer and tourists have published many pictures and articles about it.

In the main building of Eram Garden, there is a museum called Stone and Gem of the Sea of Light, with more than 140 kinds of stones and rare ornaments. this unique garden has become one of the most visited attractions of Shiraz.
