The Museum of carpet is one of 14 treasuries at the holy shrine of Imam Reza, eight imams of the Shiites. At present this treasury exhibit more than 100 carpets and rugs which are considered to be great work. This museum contains 3 floors of the exhibition.
Ground floor: woven carpets by the central and eastern parts of the country and also curtain carpets.First floor: woven carpets by western and northwestern part of the country and also nomads carpets.Second floor: carpets from the Safavid period and great large carpets of Mashhad.
