This Desert, located 105 kilometers from Isfahan city and 10 kilometers from Varzaneh city, has an area of about 17,000 hectares. On the moving sand of the desert, you can take your shoes off and walk barefoot for a while, surely touching the sand is a memorable experience in the desert. If you go to the eastern hills you will see a beautiful view of Gavkhuni Lagoon. One of the most memorable adventures of this desert is when you head to the summit of the Black Mountain where you can watch the lagoon and its surroundings from above.
Perhaps none of Iran’s deserts has the same variety of recreational facilities as the Varzaneh desert has.
