Food is one of the best ways to experience Iran's culture. Persian cuisine reflects centuries of history, regional traditions, and the diverse landscapes of the country.

Our Iran Culinary Tour goes beyond simply tasting traditional dishes. Travelers can explore local markets, discover regional ingredients, and experience the traditions behind Persian food. Along the way, the journey also introduces Iran's architecture, history, and everyday culture.

From aromatic herbs and spices to traditional breads, rice dishes, stews, and local specialties, each destination adds a different flavor to the journey.

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Tehran | Persian Kebab Experience

    Arrival at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA), where you will meet our representative and be transferred to your hotel.

    Later, visit the UNESCO-listed Golestan Palace, once part of Tehran's royal complex, followed by a walk through the bustling Grand Bazaar. For lunch, enjoy your first introduction to Persian cuisine with a traditional Iranian kebab at a local restaurant.

    In the afternoon, visit Tabiat Bridge, one of Tehran's best-known contemporary landmarks, and enjoy the surrounding urban atmosphere.

  • Day 2 : Tehran | Markets, Street Food and Cooking Ingredients

    After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Iran, home to an impressive collection of archaeological treasures that trace the country's long history.

    Continue to 30 Tir Street, one of Tehran's popular street-food areas. Here, food stalls, cafés and restaurants offer an opportunity to experience the city's contemporary food culture.

    In the afternoon, explore Tajrish Bazaar, with its colorful displays of fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices. We will also shop for ingredients for our culinary experience.

  • Day 3 : Tehran → Qazvin → Masuleh

    After breakfast, leave Tehran and drive to Qazvin. Visit the historic Chehel Sotoun Pavilion and explore part of the old city.

    For lunch, taste Gheymeh Nesar, one of Qazvin's best-known traditional dishes, prepared with rice, meat, nuts, barberries, and aromatic spices.

    After lunch, continue towards Masuleh, the historic mountain village famous for its distinctive stepped architecture and beautiful natural setting.

    In the evening, explore the village and enjoy dinner at a local traditional restaurant.

  • Day 4 : Masuleh → Rasht | Gilani Cuisine and Cooking Experience

    After a local breakfast, leave Masuleh and continue to Rasht, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

    Visit Rasht Bazaar, one of the best places to discover the ingredients and flavors of northern Iranian cuisine. The market offers fresh fish, seasonal vegetables, local herbs, fruits and regional products.

    During the day, discover traditional Gilani cuisine and learn how to prepare dishes such as Baghala Ghatogh and Mirza Ghasemi in a local culinary experience.

    Depending on the season and available time, we may also visit a tea plantation or rice field.

    Later, explore Shahrdari Square and the lively center of Rasht.

  • Day 5 : Rasht → Tabriz

    After breakfast, leave Rasht and begin the journey towards Tabriz.

    Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant and take a walk around El Goli Park.

  • Day 6 : Tabriz | Bazaar and Azerbaijani Flavors

    Start the day with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex. Explore its traditional shops and discover some of the flavors associated with Iranian Azerbaijan.

    Taste local specialties such as sarshir (clotted cream) with honey, and sample traditional Iranian baklava. Continue with a visit to the historic Blue Mosque.

    Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. In the evening, taste Kufteh Tabrizi, Tabriz's famous stuffed meatball and one of the city's signature dishes.

  • Day 7 : Tabriz → Kandovan → Tabriz → Shiraz

    After breakfast, drive to Kandovan, the remarkable rock village near Tabriz. Explore its distinctive rock-cut homes and learn about traditional village life.

    There will also be time to browse local handicrafts and regional products before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.

    Return to Tabriz and transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Shiraz.

    Upon arrival in Shiraz, transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 8 : Shiraz | Culture and Persian Home Dining

    After breakfast, discover some of Shiraz's most celebrated attractions. Visit the Tomb of Hafez, dedicated to one of Iran's most beloved poets, followed by the colorful Nasir al-Mulk Mosque.

    Continue to Eram Garden and explore Vakil Bazaar, where spices, sweets, handicrafts and local products reflect the character of Shiraz.

    In the evening, enjoy a Persian home-dining experience in a local house. The evening includes a non-alcoholic welcome drink, fresh fruit, Kalam Polo Shirazi and a traditional Persian dessert.

    Overnight in Shiraz

  • Day 9 : Shiraz → Persepolis → Naqsh-e Rostam → Shiraz

    Today, travel to Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire and one of Iran's most important archaeological sites.

    Continue to Naqsh-e Rostam, where monumental royal tombs are carved into the cliffs.

    After returning to Shiraz, enjoy some free time to relax and experience the city's café culture.

    Overnight in Shiraz

  • Day 10 : Departure

    Transfer to Shiraz International Airport for your departure flight.
