Jahan Nama is a summer village surrounded by a protected area of the same name, which is sweeping away from the turmoil of the world. With its spectacular sight, this beautiful village is surrounded by a vast plain among the Hyrcanian Forests and Alborz mountains, just like the countryside of the Alps.
It has native and traditional architecture; there are no signs of urban living, and plumbing water, mobile antennas, electricity, and telephone at the home of local people.
This summer village is located 3086 meters above sea level, so it is very high. Its area also is about 30,650 hectares. This area has the most pristine forests in the northern part of Iran, and it is the only region in the country where tigers can easily live.
Another fascinating point about this region is that it is known as the roof of the Golestan province because from its highest parts, you can see the beautiful views of Kordkuy, Gorgan, and Bandar Torkaman. The famous village of Ziarat and its beautiful waterfall are also located in the area and you can enjoy its spectacular views.
