Best time for Travel, Determining the best time to travel in Iran depends on very personal and local factors, some people prefer to travel to Iran when the weather is not too hot or the places are not too crowded, and some prefer Traditional and local event.

In general, spring and autumn are the best times to visit Iran, although the weather may be slightly warmer in the near summer or cooler in the near winter. The most accurate time is from mid-April to early June and from late September to early November.

All seasons have their own attractions. Due to geographical variation, you can experience all kinds of weather in any season of Iran.

Due to the vast territory of Iran, at some times of the day on the different areas have different climates. In fact, there are different types of weather and conditions in Iran; the weather can vary depending on where you are. Wet, dry, warm, or cold.

July is the hottest month in Iran. You may also find significant snowfall in winter in certain areas. Between the summer heat and change climate, and often cold winters, spring and autumn are very short seasons in Iran. The climate is mild and humid in the coastal areas of the northern Caspian Sea. The southern parts of the Persian Gulf are always warmer than in central Iran, but with more pleasant winters. The northwest of Iran is about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the rest of Iran.

Due to the climate variation, while someone enjoys winter sports with the short few-hour trip enjoy swimming in the warm waters of the Persian Gulf. You can also experience the chilly weather in the Gulf Islands during January and February. If you want to go skiing, you need to plan your trip between November and March.

There are Golabgiry and rose festivals between April and June. In Iran, the hunting season is from October 23 to February 19 while outside of Iran coincides with the January holidays. So, depending on the season and the places you want to visit, you need to have a specific plan for your trip.

These months are the best time for tourism. In other months of the year, there will be very cold or very hot weather for those who are not familiar with such a wide climate.

Iranian New Year

Please note that the Iranian New Year will take place from 14 March to 6 April. Many Iranian banks and government offices will be closed for the week of this period. Iran Authorisation code request forms will not be accepted or processed during this time by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran.
