Milad Tower, also known as the Tehran Tower, is a multi-purpose tower in Tehran, Iran. As the 6th tallest tower, Milad Tower is 435 high, from the base to the tip of its antenna. Tehran tower has been the new symbol of Tehran city, after Azadi Tower, built-in 1972.
It is one of the most popular Tehran attractions in recent years. The construction lasted 11 years, under the supervision of Iranian architect Mohammad Reza Hafezi.
It includes 5 parts, which are the foundation, entrance lobby, shaft, head structure, and antenna. The lobby consists of 6 floors and comprises trade units, exhibitions, and food courts. Six elevators at a speed of 7 m / s lead visitors to the upper floors along the concrete shaft.
The head of the tower consists of 12 floors. The antenna hosts the Islamic Republic of Iran broadcast and private antennas. Milad Tower is part of the Tehran International Trade and Convention Center.
Alongside the Convention Center and a World Trade Center, the Milad Tower hosts various exhibitions and events. For regular visitors, the main interest is in the viewing deck, located at the top of the head structure.
This panoramic view provides a 360-degree view of the city and the mountains. In addition, you can visit the Tower Art Gallery and Museum.
